Rocky Mountain Clothing Co. Adds New Marketing Talent to Grow Presence as Leading Western Lifestyle Marketing Company - Saturday, July 01, 2006
DENVER, July 1, 2006 -- Denver-based Rocky Mountain Clothing Co. (RMCC), today announced the appointments of Dave Trifiletti, Meredith Mace, and Linda Whitney to its in-house marketing team. The new marketing team members will support RMCC’s goal of becoming the leading marketer of apparel and other products for the western lifestyle market.

“We are thrilled to welcome these three talented marketing professionals to our team, and are excited about the experience and capabilities they bring to us,” said President Paul Leroue. “Dave, Meridith and Linda will be tremendous assets in developing, leading and executing marketing initiatives to grow our company’s presence as a leading Western lifestyle company.”

Dave Trifiletti joins RMCC as director of marketing. In this new position, Trifiletti will grow the branding platforms and programs for the company’s core brands --- Cinch, Cruel Girl and Rockies – to support their growth as leading western lifestyle brands. Before joining Rocky Mountain Clothing Co, Dave was an account director with Denver-based McClain Finlon Advertising directing programs for Rocky Mountain Clothing Co., Western Union and Xcel Energy. Before moving to Denver, Trifiletti supervised branding campaigns at Leo Burnett and Relay Worldwide in Chicago. Trifiletti graduated from Xavier University in Cincinnati.

Meredith Mace joins RMCC as director of licensing. Mace was recently with Boulder-based Spyder Active Sports as manager of merchandising and licensing. At Spyder, she managed products from concept to production, and launched the company’s licensing program. Mace also has led licensing programs for Kenneth Cole, Calvin Klein and Polo Ralph Lauren in New York. In her new role, Mace will manage current licenses and lead the development of new categories and opportunities for RMCC.  Mace earned a BA from the University of Colorado.

Linda Whitney joins RMCC as project lead for Operation Best of Class, the company’s internal initiative to develop “best-in-class” strategies for brand marketing, merchandising, design and product development.  Whitney’s experience includes leadership roles with Jockey International, Fruit of the Loom, Sara Lee Knits, and VF Playwear/Healthtex. She earned her BS and MS degrees in Textile Products Marketing and Design at the University of North Carolina.
